Security Questions – Account Verification (Firstserv)
At Firstserv, we take the security and privacy of your account seriously. To ensure we are speaking with the authorised account holder when you contact us via live chat or telephone, we use a security question and answer for verification.
Setting Up Your Security Question
When you create an account or make your initial purchase, you will be prompted to set a security question and answer.
If you are an existing customer and have not yet configured this, our team may ask you to set it up when you contact support.
To set or update your security question:
- Log in to your Firstserv Client Area
- Open your profile menu (top-right corner)
- Select Security Settings
- Click Set Security Question
- Choose a question from the list
- Enter your answer
- Click Save Security Question
Managing Your Security Question
You can update or change your security question at any time by returning to the Security Settings page.
Additional Account Security (Recommended)
On the same page, you will also find the option to enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA).
While optional, 2FA is strongly recommended as it provides an extra layer of protection for your account. Please refer to our dedicated guide for step-by-step instructions on setting up 2FA.
If you need help setting up your security question or enhancing your account security, the Firstserv support team will be happy to assist.
