Unlimited Website Plans (Firstserv)

Usage Policy

All Firstserv Cloud and Unlimited hosting plans are intended for hosting your own websites. These plans are not permitted for reselling services to third parties.

If you plan to host websites on behalf of clients, you should instead consider our reseller hosting plans, which are specifically designed for that purpose.

Shared Resources

Our Cloud, Premium, and Business hosting plans operate on a single cPanel account, meaning all resources (CPU, RAM, and processes) are shared across every website hosted within that account.

Because of this shared structure, the number of websites you can host effectively will vary depending on their complexity and resource usage.

For example:

  • You may be able to host multiple small, static HTML sites with minimal traffic without issue.
  • However, a single large, dynamic website (such as a WordPress e-commerce store with many products and features) can consume significantly more resources, limiting how many additional sites you can run efficiently.

If you find your hosting resources are becoming stretched, you have several options:

  • Upgrade to a higher-tier hosting plan with additional resources
  • Move to a reseller hosting plan with multiple cPanel accounts
  • Upgrade to a Virtual Private Server (VPS) for greater control and dedicated resources

Reseller Hosting

Firstserv reseller plans include multiple cPanel accounts, each with its own allocated CPU, memory, and process limits.

With reseller hosting:

  • You can create and manage separate hosting accounts for each website or client
  • You have flexibility to allocate your total disk space across multiple cPanel accounts
  • Each account operates independently, improving performance isolation and management

Choosing the right hosting structure depends on how many websites you plan to manage and how resource-intensive they are. If you're unsure, our team is happy to help you decide on the most suitable option.
