If your charity is officially registered with a recognised regulatory body, you may be eligible for our charity hosting programme. This includes organisations registered in the UK and other recognised jurisdictions, subject to verification.

What’s Included?

Eligible charities can choose from:

• A free entry-level hosting plan
  or
• 50% off any other hosting plan, including higher-tier shared hosting and VPS solutions

Please note: Discounts apply to hosting services only and do not include optional licences (e.g. control panels or premium add-ons).

Our free plan is ideal for smaller charity websites and includes:

• Hosting for one website
• 10GB storage
• Unlimited bandwidth
• Email hosting (with mailbox limits depending on plan)
• Free SSL certificate
• Daily backups
• Access to hundreds of one-click applications, including WordPress

In return, we kindly ask that you include a link back to Firstserv somewhere on your website.

How to Apply

1. Sign Up for a Hosting Plan

• Visit the Firstserv hosting page and order your chosen plan
• At checkout, select Bank Transfer as the payment method (no payment will be taken at this stage)

2. Submit a Support Request

Once your account is created:

1. Log in to your Firstserv Client Area
2. Go to Support → Open Ticket
3. Provide the following details:
   • Charity name
   • Official charity registration number
   • Country or regulatory body (if applicable)

3. Verification and Activation

• Our team will verify your organisation against the relevant charity register
• Once confirmed, we will:
  • Convert your plan to the free charity package, or
  • Apply your 50% discount to the selected hosting plan

Important Requirements

• The account must be registered in the name of a director, trustee, or authorised representative of the charity
• This ensures we can verify that the individual setting up the hosting is officially connected to the organisation
