If you're experiencing SSL-related errors—even on supported devices—it may be necessary to reinstall (reissue) your SSL certificate to ensure the correct certificate is being used.

Before You Begin

  • ✅ Ensure you can access your cPanel account
  • ✅ Confirm the issue relates to SSL (e.g. browser warnings, certificate errors)

Step 1: Log in to cPanel

  • Access your cPanel dashboard
  • If you’re unsure how to log in, refer to your Firstserv access details or support documentation

Step 2: Open SSL/TLS Manager

  1. In cPanel, navigate to the Security section
  2. Click SSL/TLS

Step 3: Manage SSL Installations

  1. Click Manage SSL Sites
  2. Locate the domain experiencing SSL issues

Step 4: Reissue the Certificate

  1. Click Use Certificate for New Site next to the affected domain
  2. In the Domain dropdown, select the correct domain
  3. Click Install Certificate

✅ This will reinstall the SSL certificate for your domain.

Step 5: Verify

  • Visit your website using https://
  • Confirm the SSL warning is resolved and the padlock icon is visible

Summary

To resolve SSL issues:

  1. Log in to cPanel
  2. Navigate to SSL/TLS → Manage SSL Sites
  3. Reinstall the certificate for your domain
  4. Test your site to confirm it’s working correctly

If the issue persists after reinstalling your SSL certificate, the Firstserv support team is always available to help investigate further.
